-Was organized in 1943 and was instrumental in establishing Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

-Has provided an endowment to support Service Learning mission activities for dental and dental hygiene students.

-Is a professional organization for all SDA dentists, dental hygienists, dental students, and dental hygiene students from all schools of dentistry across the U.S.

-Provides the opportunity for social and professional contact with other SDA dentists & dental hygienists.

-Supports dental mission projects through YAMM (Year Around Mission Money).

-Established the only SDA Dental Lab Tech School (Montemorelos, Mexico).
